Empowering Young Minds Through Dance and Creativity

Nikolai empowers children and teens through dance. He leads weekly rhythm-based sessions in Kitas, choreographs with students in schools, and introduces them to performing arts careers through theater visits. His holiday workshops, summer camps, and teens classes offer young people hands-on opportunities to explore dance creatively and professionally.

Nikolai Kemeny - Groove it!

GROOVE IT!

GROOVE IT is a dance workshop series at the Albertus-Magnus-Gymnasium in Bensberg that encourages students to explore their bodies as rhythmic instruments. Over several weekends, students engage in tap dance training, rhythm exploration, and dramaturgical techniques to create a stage performance. The project, led by Dorit Schäffler and Nikolai Kemeny, fosters teenagers‘ self-expression. By combining creativity with social reflection, students develop confidence, collaborate on meaningful discourse, and showcase their work in a public performance.
